Working with flowers as living matter
At Alkonost, flowers are not treated as ornament.
They are approached as living matter — fragile, temporal, responsive to their environment.
Each stem, each volume, each absence is considered in relation to space, light and rhythm.
What we create is not meant to impress immediately, but to settle quietly into place.

Gesture before decoration
Our work is rooted in restraint, clarity and intention.
We favor gestures over accumulation, balance over abundance.
A floral composition may be barely noticeable at first glance.
Its presence is felt rather than explained.
We believe elegance often lies in what is withheld.

A site-specific approach
Every project begins with careful observation.
Of the place.
Of its architecture, proportions, textures and light.
We design in response to what already exists, allowing the floral work to resonate naturally with its surroundings rather than compete with them.
Nothing is replicated.
Nothing is applied by formula.
Silence as a creative position
Not all of our work is photographed.
Not all of it is meant to be described.
Some projects are conceived to exist only for a moment —
experienced rather than documented.
This discretion is a conscious choice and an integral part of our practice.
Selected collaborations
Alkonost works on a limited number of projects each year.
We collaborate with couples seeking a thoughtful, understated floral language for their wedding,
as well as planners, venues, houses and institutions requiring discretion, precision and creative alignment.
Each collaboration is approached with the same level of care, regardless of scale.

Process
Our process is intentionally concise.
It is built around dialogue, interpretation and trust —
allowing space for ideas to mature and for decisions to be made with clarity.
We do not follow trends.
We respond to context.
Availability is limited.
