Garden wedding at Chateau des Barrenques - Provence

Gaia & Romain choosed to celebrate their beautiful day at the Chateau de Barrenques.

A beautiful venue in the south of France surrounded by gardens and lavender fields.

Our first meetings felt like an evidence, they told me they wanted to have colorful flowers according to Gaia's culture, no white, and a garden feeling.

I've made a first proposition for a color palette with lavender, yellow and pink flowers they adopted immediatly.

For bride bouquet, Gaia loved our airy and wild style so it was easy for us to know how to realise her dream bouquet. We also built relationships with small flower farms, so we know where to go to catch airy and light blooms to make the difference in her bouquet. We enjoyed doing this bouquet so much !

So we were ready to choose the ceremony set up, our couple fell in love with the broken arch and we decided to go for it. We went for something very colorfull as well, with seasonal flowers : a lot of dahlias that were just stunning at this time of the year.

The ceremony was supposed to be outside but the rain invited itself to the party so we quickly discussed to choose the plan B. It's very important to us to discuss this before the wedding while we build the project and choose a second plan that suits bride and groom. Our couples are involved in the big decisions for their wedding day, and choosing a plan B for ceremony is one of it. According to our experience, it's the best way to proceed, because if it rains the D-day they already know what's the plan, there is less stress involved and the choice is easier.

We choosed to have colorful petals all the way of the aisle to keep a warm and romantic atmosphere.

Then, we decided to move the broken arch to the dinner space so they can enjoy the flowers longer and have statement pieces to decor the space.

When it come to flowers, we always give the advice to have beautiful statement pieces around diner space, because it has a big visual impact your guests won't forget. Our experience confirmed us many time, so when couples wants to enjoy their flowers longer we design ceremony specialy to be moved after to the reception.
